Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A star who strayed completely from the world of country music to pop culture, becoming an iconic pop star that is set to last forever and conquering all of the world. Swift has thrown off her roots in the country as if she was shedding skins for second purposes and has proven herself to be one of one of the best pop singers and songwriters within her generation. She is able to tap into the current trend and create her unique. This was evident in her earliest songs especially with regard to the neo homage to Tim McGraw. On her 2nd album, Fearless (2008) Swift showed a songwriter getting to understand herself. The album ended up with a lot of appeal not just on the U.S. where it racked the record with six platinum singles, thanks to Top Ten hits Love Story and Belong with Me Belong with Me but throughout the world performing particularly well with the U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift could build on her success by releasing Speak Now almost two year following. Swift's popularity continued to grow through her subsequent three albums - Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017) -- which saw her move into a pop realm that she had already been a part of. The popularity of her music grew after she reformulated her approach in 2020's more streamlined siblings Folklore (and Evermore) and stayed atop of the pop world.
