Morgan Fairchild is an American actor from the United States. Her birth name is Patsy McClenny in February, 1950. The actress gained fame in the latter part of the 1970s and into the early 1980s when she starred in numerous television shows that she often portrayed an image of glamour. Fairchild was first noticed in the CBS morning soap Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 until 1977. She played Jenna Wade in 1978, being the first actress who had done so. She was cast in 1980 as the role of Jennifer Wade on Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded an Golden Globe Award nomination for the Best Actress - Television Series Drama. Fairchild co-starred alongside ABC in the short-lived soap Paper Dolls during 1984. Later, she appeared as Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 until 1986. Fairchild is also a performer in theatre and has played in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star in Comedy Series.
