Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She founded The Huffington Post, is the CEO and founder of Thrive Global as well an author of fifteen novels. Arianna Huffington has worked as a TV host, journalist writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for more than ten years. She also is the proprietor of The Huffington Post, an free-of-cost online news magazine. She was born in Greece and relocated to England at age sixteen. When she attended Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in Economics. The well-known debating club The Cambridge Union was her first president and she took it before the age of 21. She became a syndicated conservative writer following her graduation. When The Huffington Post launched a couple of years after, she created an online voice platform which offered critiques of political scenarios. Her popularity helped her to convince several celebrities to contribute their opinion about current affairs, culture and politics. Arianna was famous in 2003 when she ran as an independent candidate in the California recall election to succeed Governor Davis. Apart from this she also directed an Detroit project that promoted the use of fuel-efficient cars. Forbes listed her 12th in their list of the Top Influential Media Women. Guardian also included the HuffingtonPost in their top 100 list in the year 2010. In 2011, AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post and made her president of that media company, which also included a number of then-existing AOL properties, including Engadget AOL music Style list as well as Patch Media. She was the daughter of journalist and management consultant Konstantinos along with his partner Elli Stasinopoulos. The way she lived her life was determined through her relationship with her mother and her bond with her father despite her being very close to him. From her early years, she displayed leadership qualities which are still widely admired. When she was in her 16th year she travelled to England to study and enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. She was a member of the Cambridge Union college debate society during her time at college in which she became the first woman to serve as president. She graduated in 1972 with an MA in Economics. In the years following the graduation ceremony, she worked as a journalist and TV host. She also appeared in the series Face the music along with Bernard Levin and began writing books, utilizing editorial guidance from Bernard Levin.
