Zoe Saldana (born June 19 1978) was born to Asalia Saldana & Aridio Saldana, who reside in Passaic New Jersey. Her father was Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. Her mother is from Puerto Rico and her father was Dominican. At the age of 10, older her family and she moved into the Dominican Republic, where they lived for the next seven years. As they remained in the country, Zoe discovered a keen passion for performance dancing and enrolled in the prestigious ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy in which she was taught ballet, as well as various other dance forms.
