Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also directed films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into an upper middle-class family located in Los Angeles and had big dreams for her future. Her mother loved films, and she instilled an interest in films in her daughter. Paula took part in numerous co-curricular events at school however she showed a particular interest in dramatics. Paula loved playing the role of an actor alongside her peers and was a participant in her school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actress decided that acting was her chosen career. She was in at the University of Southern California's Summer program and enjoyed tremendously. The program was a PBS project for three months to shoot documentary films. Once she had completed the task well, she was able to begin working as an assistant for television documentary production. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. While she was awed by her work, she yearned for acting roles. In the romantic comedy Hitch she starred in a minor role alongside Will Smith. Since then, she has appeared in many popular movies as well as TV series.
