Lowell began her acting career with the film Dangerously Close followed by a minor role in the Robin Williams film Club Paradise. [4] Lowell played the part of Bond girl Pam Bouvier (1989), and also the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross (1996-1996). She was a regular on Law and Order's spinoff Law & Order Trial by Jury as well as on the original series in 2022. Before she was cast in this role she was frustrated in her acting career and had applied to study documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] She took a break from acting in the mid-2000s. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness and voice while reprising her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. 2018 saw her returning to television, where she was a guest on Blue Bloods. [9][10] The couple was together as actor Griffin Dunne from 1989 to 1995. She also has a daughter, Hannah, from the union. [citation needed] Lowell married Richard Gere [11] in November 2002 following the birth of their son Homer James Jigme Gere was born in February 2000. Two years later, in September they divorced after eleven years of marriage. The couple was involved in an extremely contentious divorce proceeding before the New York Supreme Court for three years.
